  • I took my white dog back to the vet for his check up and things are looking good. The wound is healing, and we can now just wait for it to scab over and heal by itself. No stitching necessary, which I’m sure my dog will appreciate. We just got to keep the t-shirt we gave him on, as well as the bandage, to avoid further possible infection. Ofcourse he needs to keep his cone collar for quite awhile longer, so he’ll have to continue being satellite dog some more.

Now, what I thought was kind of funny was that when we got to the Vet, there was nobody at the reception area. Then I noticed a dog’s head staring back at me, with his paws on the counter. Very cute looking dog, and I was all “are you the new receptionist?” I wanted to get a photo of his head and paws on the counter facing me, but he kept moving before my cellphone took the picture. I did get one where he was acting receptionist to another customer though, so that’ll have to do. Now, it turns out the only person that was there was the Veterinarian and what looks like another vet who is being trained for the job. Apparently the receptionist was bitten by a dog and the other receptionist had to take her to the hospital (well, that part of the story isn’t funny). The thing is, the vet does not know how to handle the reception area by himself and is unsure about how all the paperwork works. I ended up not needing to pay for the check up as he just let me go. Maybe they’ll just send us the bill later so *shrugs*
