  • Future xbox 360 owners, you should have heard the news by now.

    - xbox 360 has two priced packages ($399.99 & $299.99)
    - xbox 360 peripherals prices
    - feedback about Hard Drive and double pricing backlash
    - specification sheet for console packages

Everything that comes with the premium package were all items that I
was planning to get anyways, so it really is quite a deal for me. At
this rate, getting the $399.99 "elite" package, plus two more
controllers ($99.98), three battery packs ($35.97), and three games
    ($149.97), will come up to $685.91 + tax = $742.50. Yowza, that is a
    lot of money.

If I went by my original estimates based on the rumored prices prior to
the recent announcement, everything I said I want above would have come
up to $645.07 with tax. So it really is just about $100 difference from
the rumors.  I suppose that isn't too bad, as things could have
    been worse.

So best advice to all of you... Bite that $100 bill and get the Premium
package if you are planning to own an xbox 360. Unless you plan to buy
it as a gift for someone, in which case just get the "core unit" and
let the person pay for the rest. ^_^
