  • You know when you try to recommend something (music, movies, tv show,
etc) to somebody, because you think it's good? But that somebody is
simply not interested, no matter how good it is? The next step you
should take is to add one more line to see if they change their
mind.  If they don't, you should just stop and just accept their
decision right? Well, tell that to a co-worker of mine who doesn't seem
to get that concept. Whenever the conversation goes into either music,
movies, or tv shows, there's at least something he'd like me to check
out. To be fair, I listen to why I should bother, but usually I end up
just saying that I'm not interested.  Instead of leaving it alone,
he goes on and on and on and on why it's so great and how I really
should check it out. For the love of Jebus, I said I'm not interested
and you should leave it at that!

Sometimes when it feels like they are just trying to force something on you, the more you want to just say NO.
