  • a quick rant...

People, I'm all for quick lane changes on the road, but for the love of
God, make sure to check to see if there's a car next to you first! Oh,
and turning on your signal light does not count if you are already in
the middle of changing lanes! Turn on your signal light, and at least
give us three seconds to get out of your way before changing lanes.
And you people with your Sports Utility Vehicles and huge trucks (like
an F150), you of all people should have NO excuse to not see other cars
around you.  Isn't that why you went for the bigger raised
vehicles, so you can have a better vantage point of what's around you
(or was that just because it's hip and cool)? Use your mirrors, and
learn how to drive your huge vehicles properly if you're going to own
    one.

    ...end of rant.

  • Driving in TX is much more civil.  For example in LA if you want to go a bit faster on the freeway you have to weave in and out of traffic.  Here in TX if you want to go a bit faster people will move out of your way so you don't have to wave.  Good Krama over here.
