  • I'm a Catholic, although I don't really practice the "rituals" very often.  In fact, I haven't gone to church for mass or confession in a very very very long time.  Well yesterday was Ash Wednesday which is the start of Lent, and I had the opportunity to go to church.  I did not though, because I don't want to be one of those people that only go to mass on special occasions (how's that for commitment?). But being that it is now Lent for us Catholics, for the next seven Friday's (until Easter Sunday), I am not suppose to eat meat (except for seafood meat like fish). Now this is something that I've actually been able to uphold to my Catholic upbringing. So now I just gotta remind my friends that if we eat together on a Friday, it's going to have to be fish / seafood friendly.
