  • I went to a party that a friend of mine who I haven't seen for a year now was throwing. It was great and all, but the one thing that probably stood out to me the most was that I found out he was still using a dial-up service to get online! I wanted to show my friend a youtube video, and it took probably 30 minutes for it to completely load. I was reminded of how slow things were back in the day. I told him that for $17.99 a month, he could be using broadband DSL service. That's not a bad deal, and he is really considering it now.

    This makes me wonder, do you guys know anybody else that still uses dial-up service?
