  • Recently, me and my friends visited LegoLand California. For the longest time now, I've been told that LegoLand should only be visited by people with children. They were not lying. This theme park really is geared towards the kiddies, and Adults are usually either just there to accompany kids or to look at cool lego models. In fact I believe we only bothered to get on three rides total with one short "4D" movie, and they were definitely not that exciting.

There were only two really memorable things that we did at the park. The first one is checking out "mini-land" which is very impressive in how they reconstructed iconic locations of the United States of America. The only down side there are the "interactive" functions littered throughout the land (like operating one of the boats / cars) were mostly not working. The second memorable thing was the water balloon fight. I actually objected to this interactive game because I did not want to get wet, and sure enough I was the one who got wet the most. It was fun, but damn did I get wet. I also did win a souveneir basketball by playing a basketball carnival game, so I guess that was something.

I did not bring my main digital-camera, so everything was shot with my camera-phone. For a park that doesn't really have that much to see, mini-land in itself is very photogenic.
