It's been a little over a month since my previous youtube.com account was suspended, and also since I've created my current one. So far this past month I've had no incidents of companies complaining about copyright infringement... until yesterday. Apparently, along with NBC, reality tv, pay per view events, movie trailers/clips, and music videos, I can add Comedy Central to the list of companies to avoid uploading videos related to them. It was the one "the Daily Show with Jon Stewart" clip I uploaded about three weeks ago that got me my first strike in my new account. Here I thought that show was safe to upload. I guess not. I proceeded to delete a couple of other Comedy Central related videos that might get me in trouble just to play it safe.
My friend said I will lose this account in a month and a half's time. So I got about two more weeks to prove him wrong. We'll see. I'm hoping to keep this account alive, since I've actually uploaded some videos that are uniquely my own.

BTW... youtube has publicly started removing all daily show and many other show clips as of last week.
They are really trying to go legit lately
