It's just less than a day away, and I wonder if anybody else feels the same way I do. I'm sick and tired of Aprils Fools Jokes. Maybe it's an age thing or whatever, but I just don't think they are funny anymore. I'm sure other people do feel the same way, because I've even seen some websites out there announcing their annual tradition NOT to do an aprils fools joke. So c'mon people quit with the Aprils fools jokes already. Leave it for the kiddies.

Well I'm down to my very last stages of my Flu. I got the running nose, which actually isn't running so much, so it isn't too much of a problem. The main problem right now is my hard coughing, which is probably trying to get rid of the build up in phlegm down my throat, or my larynx or lungs or whatever gives in first. The problem is that the coughing is sooo hard that my voice is completely shot, and I'm talking like a guy who smoked too many tobacco is his lifetime. It also hurts like hell to my head when I cough, and I feel like my brain is about ready to explode.

I've mentioned once before, that I am tired of people using "how are you doing?" as their standard greeting, because do they really care?! Just say "hello" is what I say. Anyways, I finally went back to work last night, and the same exact people who asks me "how are you doing?" had to do a double take when I answered "not so good" (in that hoarse voice that I have right now). Their reaction made the devil in my head laugh with glee, because they were stammering their next comments, as if embarassed that they brought up the fact that I wasn't doing so well.

When I woke up today, I found out that my old english / wheaton terrier mix learned a new trick today. He learned to open up sealed plastic wrapped bags that contain dog treats! That's something my Akita / Australian Shepperd mix never got to do. I swear, this newer dog of mine can be too smart for his own good.

Finally, I have a more persistent mouse problem at home, and it can be amusing watching my dogs try and catch it. However, unlike the previouse mice that entered my house, this one seems to like staying in the house as opposed to the garage like the other ones. I've been too nice to the mice before in the past, letting them live after capture, but this one is taking advantage of it and abusing it's trespass. Sticky pad time!

I should just swallow my pride and admit that this super flu is kicking my ass. Over the counter medicine and lots of rest is only getting me so far, and I may need stronger stuff from a doctor. At least I'm not as bad as I was Saturday.

On another note, "Meg & Dia;" one of my current favorite bands, got their whole equipment stolen at their Houston, Texas show. I hear this happen to a lot of bands, and it always pisses me off.

Well, I was suppose to post up my recently watched movie reviews, but I'm not in the mood to type up something like that right now (by tuesday for sure). I do have my random links for monday all lined up, so that shouldn't be an issue. So yeah, still sick. Better, but still sick. I had to call in sick from work tonight, and probably at least one more day before I'm ready to go back to work. This morning, I was actually in tears, not necessarily from being sick, but from the makeup that they put on me from the photoshoot yesterday. Stuff was getting into my eyes I guess. I can see why women like these glamour shots, because they get to play make believe with all the costume changes and what not. Two things I got from it are "chin down" and "relax," which I found humorously annoying. They want us to have our chin pointed down more, I assume it's because it looks better in the picture with the lighting. Then they go on and tell us to look "relax" which is odd, because the poses they want us to do are hardly relaxing to do. I suppose the photoshoot was fine, and I probably would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't for the fact I was sick.

well today me and my fiance are doing the glamour wedding photo shots. Most people who know me knows that I have something against glamour photos, and the "fakeness" of them. Don't really have a choice not to do it though, because she is sooo looking forward to it, so I'll just put up with it. Oddly enough, I'm sick, AGAIN. Fever, colds, coughs, a flu all over again? What's going on? That seems to be the theme for me this year, to get sick a lot. Unbelievable. Oh boy, this is going to be a llooonnngggg day for me.
