Recently, I got a little scare with one of my dogs. After being out in the yard, I noticed she was lying down a little "different" than normal. Her front left leg was raised up from the ground, which isn't a normal thing. At first I thought it looked kinda cute and funny, but then when she got up to walk, she was limping! We thought she either had some kind of splinter on her paw, she sprained it, or she broke it. However, when we held her leg and paw, she didn't feel any pain at all. So what gives? We took her to the emergency pet hospital and we found out that it was a case of some irritation on her paw. They gave her some shots and some meds, cleaned up the paw a bit, and that was it. $185 later, she's well and normal now.
