I don't know how it is with other men and their wedding rings; or rings in general, but I tend to remove it more often than I think I would. By that I mean that sometimes when I'm washing my hands, taking a shower, when I'm eating, or when I feel like playing with it like a top, I would take off my wedding ring. I get people telling me that I'm going to lose my ring by taking it off at all. Ofcourse I disagree because I have a "system" that would prevent that from happening. Whenever I remove my ring, there's usually a "regular spot" that I would leave it at. I've even gone as far as keep my original wedding ring box as one of the places I leave it at.
So am I just fooling myself? Will I eventually just lose my ring by removing it at several times in a day? Only time will tell.

You Are a Liberal for Life You've got a bleeding heart - and you're proud of it.
For you, liberal means being compassionate, pro-government, and anti-business.
You believe in equality for every person, and you consider yourself universally empathetic.
Helping others is not just political for you ... it's very personal too. What I'm Listening To This Week...- 10:19 am

Recently, video games have once again been accused of corrupting the children of the world (link : Fox news on "Mass Effect"), and quite frankly it's getting really really old. If you watch the video of the link I provided, out of the whole panel of people who talked about the game, only ONE of them actually played it (games journalist Geoff Keighley). I know Fox news is also known as "Faux news," but that was honestly just shoddy journalism on their part. I feel sorry for Geoff Keighley trying to have a conversation with those idiots, what with their ignorant statements. I also laughed at that woman saying "what happened to the old days like pac man, pong..." What an ignorant dumbass! I lived through those days also, and she makes it seem like the industry took a turn for the worse when "she left it."
Seriously though, instead of having to defend the content of our games to people who won't play our games in the first place, we need to compare it to some things they do understand. Movie ratings. We need to get these close minded people to understand that an MA rated game (what "Mass Effect" is rated) is suppose to be the equivalent of an R rated movie. I'm sure they know how R rated movies have mature content, so they shouldn't be surprised if those same content are available in MA rated games. Then tell them that sexual content in MA rated games are actually equivalent to a PG or PG-13 rated movie, just to further prove a point. If parents are paranoid enough to hide an MA rated video game from their kids, then they shouldn't be hypocrites by leaving their DVD of an R rated movie out in the open.

Me and my wife are actually here at Las Vegas because it's sort of a bonus work trip that her job is providing. Basically, the hotel is paid by her workplace, the dinner buffet is paid by her workplace, and there's some spending money too. Good excuse to go to Vegas I guess? Even if we actually spent most of our time at our hotel room (not because of *that*), and only gambled a good 5% of our time there? We did get to see the water show at the Bellagio hotel, and that was pretty cool. I also got to play my favorite Wheel Of Fortune slot machines, and even though I lost the most at video blackjack, I'm actually leaving Vegas with more money than I came with.
My wife wanted to get one of those souvenier Eiffel tower drinks, but she wanted to get the non-alcoholic version. However even with the strawberry punch juice in it, the thing still looks like an alcoholic drink. Fun times can be had when you carry that thing around, and just act like you are drunk. Like I told her, just smile and laugh a lot, and people will think you are drunk and will be excused for acting silly.Although there was a fire tragedy with the Monte Carlo hotel
on the day we showed up, thankfully we weren't negatively affected by
it. I feel sorry for the people who were in the hotel when it happened,
but Vegas as expected seems to be running like normal.- 3:24 am

Recently i got recertified for CPR and defribilator knowledge. Now I have this feeling like "yes! I can save a life." Ofcourse I hope that I don't have to use these skills, but if I need to.....
on a side note, I am currently staying the weekend in Las Vegas! On another note, why doesn't my room come with a complimentary refrigerator and microwave? The small hotel room I had in San Diego last year that's a third the size of the room I have here, had a refrigerator and microwave. I have a "to-go" meal that's going to go to waste! I guess my food is just another thing "that stays in Vegas."

Somebody from another department at my work place actually had the nerve to criticize me and my department for not doing a "better job." I shrugged it off with a reply that pretty much suggests that she doesn't know what she's talking about. She starts walking away and mouthing off a few more things, and being that I was still ignoring her, she goes off and says F*****. That's it, I wasn't going to take that remark, and quickly went up to her and told her that I absolutely do not appreciate her rudeness. Then she goes off a tirade about us not doing this or us not doing that, and accused us of all these different things. The stupid thing was that everything she was saying were a bunch of lies. Being that I'm pretty OCD about my operation, I countered every single accusation with the real facts to the very minute detail, and I could tell by her expression that she was absolutely flabbergasted at the fact that I caught her at all her lies.
Then she goes on an excuse about how tough her job is and that we don't have it as hard as her. Another co-worker of mine told her off, asking why she thinks we have it so much easier than her. I then added that she should understand that with all the budget cuts and limited staffing that we and her department also has, we ALL have to work harder at our job, which causes things to be more difficult than it has to. I then told her that the fact that she would take out her work frustrations on another fellow employee from the same company she works for is absolutely unwarranted and makes things more difficult for everybody. What happened to team work? Cross department cooperation? It looked like she was about to cry, so I just said "you are unbelievable, you know that?" and walked away.
Here's a simple truth about working in a job, everybody doesn't necessarily enjoy it completely. You work with what you get, and do your best. Now if the job is starting to pretty much "crush your soul" to the point where you want to be pitied, THEN QUIT! If you can't afford to quit, then just be glad you have a job, as there are a lot of unemployed people out there, and you should consider yourself lucky.

Recently, my home actually had a black out for almost two hours in the morning. The whole power was out, and when calling Southern California Edison, I was told that roughly about 1,000 homes were affected. A little while after the black out started, my alarm system started beeping; for obvious reasons. I get a call from the security company because their computer indicated that power was cut off from my security system. I told them that there is a power outage, they asked for my name, and that was that.
Here's the thing though, I'm normally asleep at the time the black out happened, and it just so happened that I was still awake at the time. Now what if I was asleep? In the first four hours of my sleep, it's really tough for me to be awakened by the phone. So what's the security company going to do? I asked my wife about that, and she said that her work place is actually listed as the next number they would call, to confirm that everything is alright. So what would my wife tell them, when she knows I'm suppose to be home sleeping, but there's something wrong with the security system. Should she just assume that something is wrong, if she doesn't get a hold of me through my cellphone? Am I just all of a sudden going to be woken up by police officers pounding on my door? Hopefully it'll never come to that scenario.
