• I got to hand it to the video game Rock Band. I never appreciated the art of drumming until I played this game. In fact, I also increased my appreciation of singing after trying out certain songs here. Unlike the guitar controller where it doesn't really help teach you much about actually playing a real guitar, the singing and drumming portion however reflect their real life counter parts. I'm starting to listen to the drums more in songs, more so than I ever did before. I'm also analyzing the way I sing a little more than before. So imagine that, a video game that's actually teaching me some practical things.
