My wife recently watched the slide show video that I created for our wedding, and she came up with the idea that maybe I should consider doing that as a side business. I suppose that's a strong possibility as it really isn't that hard for me to do, plus I have fun with it. Looking through some websites, I've seen the pricing for such a service go as little as $79 to as high as $600! Wow that's a huge price range. It's really simple stuff too, so spending more than a $100 for such a service seems a bit over kill. I guess if people are ignorant enough...
At work, one of my managers is going to be getting married soon, and the subject came up. Thinking back to what my wife suggested, I went ahead and pitched the idea that if they want some kind of video slideshow shown at their wedding, I can provide that service. My manager wasn't really thinking about doing one, but she told me that she'll consider it. So depending on what her final decision may be, I may actually get a chance to jump start this possible business endeavor.

hmm...an actual slideshow on video or something that's strictly computerized?
i didn't see your slideshow, but i'm surprised that people can charge anyone for it if it's just on a computer...there are photo sites that provide that service for free. even those digital picture frames have slideshow as an option O_O there better be some kickass additions for $600!!!
Go for the shotgun approach. Put up a website (google's site maker is free and the yahoo ecommerce stuff is easy), and print up some business cards. You may even want to check out some classes on photography and video editing (the business side).
