  • When someone has said something that insulted you, and pretty much attacked your character, what would be your first reaction? If they were right in my face about it, I would clearly answer right back. However in my case, that person insulted me out of sight, not realizing that I was just around the corner. What do you think my next action was? Did I make my presence known, and then answered back? Nope. Did I pretend that I did not hear anything? No. I actually did something I thought was actually out of character for me, I walked the other way, planned to ignore what was said, silently forgave the person, and just let it go. The reason why I chose that as my action was because I honestly did not think answering back would have made a difference. You try changing a stubborn person's way of thinking, and you'll find it's not that easy. It's a waste of time and energy, and you're better off just letting it disappear to the past. This is me putting logic to my decision, with the other reason being that this is a person that I can't exactly avoid anyway. However I've got to think that next time, if that person actually says it in front of my face....
