  • Poor poor white dog, he hurt himself again recently. He was in the yard and he got a wound on the side of his body. Don't know what it was, but we're guessing a low hanging tree branch or idunnowhat. The vet gave him the medicine he needs as well as the cone collar so that he doesn't try and chew on his wound. With the cone collar, we've been calling him "satellite dog" because he just looks like one. Thankfully his personality hasn't changed one single bit, and he isn't depressed or anything like that. It is amusing when he brushes next to a table and the cone knocks things over, and when he is sniffing around in the yard he looks like a metal detector. On Monday I'll be taking him back to the vet, and I believe they are going to finally stitch up the wound. Hopefully he won't need to be using the cone collar for too long.
