  • So I was paying for the DVDs I bought at Best Buy, and at the register
was this pretty cute girl.  In fact, she personally helped me
earlier to look for some of those DVDs. She had all these little quirks
that would make my heart go “ba-thump” like her saying “aawwww, you’re
buying Garfield & Friends” and saying how I have a “cute card” when
I showed her my drivers license along with my credit card.  After
bagging my items (two arms full), she carries them to the front desk to
de-magnetize the security tags.  I offer to help her carry them
and she cutely says “oh, but you’re the guest, I have to carry these
for you.  But thanks for asking, it’s because you’re the man
right?”  (haha, we men love it when girls point out we’re MEN) I
told her that I just wanted to help and she answers with an “aaawwwww.”
After she had everything all set, she handed me my bags and called me
by my first name (how often do Best Buy people do that?) and wished me
a good day.  Okay, I know that she’s just doing her job of
customer service, but the five to ten minutes that I spent with her
made me feel damn special.  You know I’ll be going back to that
best buy again!  That my friends is the power of women over men.
