oh yeah, the new season of 24 is
here! I recently went through the a marathon for the premiere, which is
4 episodes long (roughly 3 hours 20 minutes without commercials).
I’m glad to say that the show still kicks major ass!I’m really liking the direction that the story is going, and it looks
like the writers made some wise decisions in some of those plot
developments. There were just some moments in the show that just
made me smile at how awesome it was. Ofcourse there are still some
moments that made me think “oh why oh why did that happen?” So
far though, it looks like I’ll be
liking this season better than the previous one.But there are some negatives already. Clearly and foremost is the
new cast for CTU (counter-terrorist unit). oohh, I hate them,
especially the new boss. It’s almost like the writers purposely
made them a bunch of idiots or something, but that can’t possibly be it
can it? They obviously are trying to make us like them a little,
since they seem to force some character development to them.
Writers, hear me out, I do not care for the new CTU! At least
bring back the uber hottie that is Kim!At least we still have a bad ass, always the best at what he does, Jack
Bauer. I swear, Kiefer Sutherland deserves the recognition he
received for his work on this show, because his character makes it good
TV to watch.I forgive FOX for delaying 24 until the mid-season mark, because it
brought us a four episode season premiere, and non-stop new episodes
for the next 20 weeks with no break. This is going to be fun.
