Well, the first day of my Nine days vacation went really well. I didn’t
oversleep to waste the day away which is good. I also got to
spend time with friends and my girlfriend. What’s funny was that we contacted one of our friends that we were
going to pick him up and go out to eat. We told him through
Instant Messaging, so we know he is at home. At the time we were
going to pick him up, we called him up to tell him we were on our way,
but he didn’t answer either his cellphone or homephone. We
decided to just go to his home to pick him up, but when we got there he
didn’t answer the door. We said screw it and went on our way. By
the time we got back to one of my friend’s place, we noticed that he is
still online, AND that he was home. Apparently, he was sleeping or
something….. figuresI recently got Street Fighter Anniversary Collection
for the xbox. Since it’s an online game, I decided to go and play
somebody. Since I didn’t have that much time to play really, I
only challenged one guy. He was a guy from Texas and he seemed really
nice, unlike most online gamers who are just a bunch of flamers.
Since you actually talk and listen to people through the xbox
communicator, we got to chat while playing. I forgot how much fun
it is playing an online fighting game, especially since I gave up half
a year ago on Capcom Vs SNK 2.
Since SFAC actually contains a mode where you get to play “old skool”
Street Fighter characters, it was a nice nostalgic feeling from the
early ’90s. Plus, the game is still as competitive as ever.
If anybody reads this and wants to play me on xbox live, my gamertag is
: patrick005Later that night we ended up doing Karaoke, where we butcher some
songs, then we played some games of Halo 2, and then ended up playing
some Street Fighter. All in all, a good day, which I hope is an
indication as to how my vacation is going to go.
