By now everybody knows that Michael Jackson was Found Not Guilty on all charges. Incredible isn't it? But is it really that surprising?
It's been argued already that if it wasn't some celebrity like Michael
Jackson on trial, then a guilty verdict would have been most likely to
have happened. Just like what happened with O.J. Simpson, money that is
able to afford powerful attorneys can really really really help you.
Some of the jurors have already said that they believe that he is most
definitely guilty, BUT the prosecutors just did not present a very
strong case to sway them for a guilty verdict. Or maybe the judge did
not control the situation as well as he should have? Were the jurors
paid off?See what's been going on? People are looking for something to blame for
the verdict. Those who were in the Jackson camp are obviously relieved,
but can they defend themselves against the many out there that feel
that justice was not served? Should we still care anymore? Or should we
just be relieved that the bulk of the case is already over (the civil
court could possibly happen next)? What about the alleged victims of
the alleged crime?Surely, the aftermath of this will last for years to come.
