*sigh* as mentioned in a previous blog entry,
it seems that my nice expensive video card seems to be acting wrong.
Well, after two hours of trying to figure out the problem myself, in
addition to two more hours of trying to figure it out with the tech
support guys (I had to go through two of them), for a total of four
hours, it's official now that my video card is dead. Not only was
that kaput, but my whole afternoon was shot because of it. Well,
we were able to get the refresh rate problem fixed, but I now have
digital artifacting throughout my screen. I should be receiving
the replacement video card sometime in the future, thanks to the
lifetime warranty it comes with. But still.... it bites that this
had to happen.
