• I've been using the internet for quite a long time now. I believe it started in 1993, when I first got on American Online. I remember that throughout these many years, one of the things that I learned was to avoid posting a picture of myself online, less I give someone the chance to use my image in inappropriate ways. Nowadays though, not so many people fearing that happening it seems. I myself have loosen my restraints and have posted pictures of myself online; although I'd like to think that I'm still showing some caution.

  With the popularity of social networks like friendster or myspace, you will notice the abundance of people who aren't afraid to post pictures of themselves on the internet. Some people go really really all out, with lots of self-photographs actually showing acts that will make their parents ashamed. How things have changed.
