  • Gamers, check this post I got from a message board...

"Okay, my mom hates games. I mean, she doesn't "hate" them, but she hasn't played one in decades, and any time I tried to show one to her, she would be bored and leave within seconds.
However, over X-mas break, I took my Wii to my parent's house and they decided to try it out, and they freakin' loved it! (My mom with Wii sports, and my dad with ExciteTruck). Keep in mind, my mom hasn't played a game since Pac-Man, and my dad only took a passing interest in the occasional game (he did watch me play through RE4 in its entirety though).
Anyway, my mind was blown when my mom called me mere moments ago saying she somehow found a Wii at Target (the shipment just came in, and the other units were selling out at that moment) and she decided to buy one. I couldn't believe this.
Kudos Nintendo, kudos. If you convinced my mom, you can convince almost anyone."

Wow. I wonder how many more non-gamers are getting sucked into the Wii?
