  • A friend asked my wife and I to help her in a video project that she wanted to do for the internet. She's a vegan, so it was on having Thanksgiving without needing to eat a Turkey. Being somebody who has directed / writen / edited video projects before, it was a little hard for me to be more hands off in the process than I normally would if I was doing it. I have to admit that I would have done things a lot differently, but what can I really do, I was just there to be an actor for the piece. That's another thing too, I'm more of a "behind the camera" kind of person, but they needed me to be on screen, so I actually had to be an actor, which is uncommon for me to do. The video project went by pretty well though, and I look forward to how the final project will turn out. I also got to meet her actor / actress friends, and it isn't often I'm surrounded by "Hollywood peeps" if you know what I mean. Ofcourse some of them were a lot more photogenic than I was, but that's to be expected I guess. The whole experience kind of shown me a life that I could have lived, if I pursued a career in film making. For that I really appreciate the opportunity to be part of the video project.
