ah, my poor white dog. Recently he was chewing and licking on his front right paw a lot. Something was obviously irritating him, but I couldn't figure out what it was. Then one early morning I noticed that he had an actual cut on that paw. I took him to the vet and the poor thing was so scared that he actually had some anal secretion. It smelled pretty bad. The vet "glued" his wound together and recommended I use neosporin for it. To make him avoid licking and chewing on his front right paw again, we decided to try a couple of ways to stop him from doing that. First we put a sock on his front right leg; a human sock. That did not last long and it fell off easily. Secondly, we put on an actual sock/boot for dogs, but that also did not last long and fell off. Third, we used an old long sleeve shirt and put it on him, tying the end of the one for the right leg. That did not work either and it too fell off. It was rather cute and funny seeing him with those socks and the shirt though, and I can see why some people like dressing up their pets. Luckily at the end, he stopped bothering his right paw, so all is well.
Silly white dog.
