After what feels like years of campaigning, it's now just one week away from the Presidential elections. Finally finally finally we can get this over with. At this time, it looks like the momentum is shifted towards Barrack Obama becoming the next U.S. President, and John McCain is now clearly the underdog hoping for the upset win. That outcome seems predetermined at this point, so it's the results for the propositions that'll be the ones to watch. California Proposition 8 in particular is the most talked about and most controversial out of anything out there. Just mention Prop 8 to anybody and I guarantee an instant discussion or argument that'll last you for hours.
There's a bunch of things to vote for, and it's foolish to assume that everybody is actually going to do the research before voting on a judge or a state measure. Is it better to just vote anyways, even if you don't know anything about it? Is it better to just leave it blank? I heard some people saying "Vote No, if you don't know," which is admitedly a catchy slogan. Either way, the results of this election season is going to be something to look forward to.
