• This past year, I was incredibly enough able to listen to about 155 music albums that were released in 2008! While it's great to be able to listen to that many new music, the problem comes with the fact that it means that those music albums have a lot of competition for my attention. In all honesty, only about 15-20 albums really took a lot of my music player's time this past year, so it was really hard to put up a ranked top 40 list this time around. The first ten on my list are definite, but the rest really can be flip-flopped around. I'm actually thinking about a different strategy for 2009, by maybe not pursuing as many new music albums to listen to as I have been. That way I can spend a little more time on the new music that I come across. Of course there are still some albums from 2007 that I still need to listen to, so if any one of them deserves to be added here after the fact, I'll add it (with a "*" next to it). Alright, so here we go...
