  • Some people (like myself) have called the summer of 2009, "The Summer of DEATH!" because of all the high profile people that's passed away (since Spring and the beginning of the year). In actuality people die every year, and 2009 didn't necessarily have more deaths than normal. Maybe 2009 had HIGHER profile deaths but I guess that's up for debate. People say that they "fear for celebrities" this year, which is kind of funny to say since it makes it seem like non-celebrities don't have to worry about dying. I'm sure the "death pools" out there have probably been pretty exciting, and it's fascinating to think that somebody made a lot of money out of somebody dying. Morbid, I know. There's only four more months left in the year, so who is next? Still morbid, I know.
