my top 25 movies of 2009, out of the 77 films I've seen from that year... so far. The films below are ranked based on the grades I gave them, as well as ones I favored over others. This top 25 consisted of movies ranging from a B+ to a solid A (I did not give an A+ to any movie in 2009). Feel free to click on the movie's hyperlink for the written review I did for it.

There were some notable things to note on this list, with some absolutely surprising me. First off, despite popular opinion "Watchmen" deserves to be in my top five (that's right, above "District 9"), as I greatly appreciated it's unorthodox take on the superhero movie (plus I LOVE the graphic novel). Out of the animated films I saw this year, "Fantastic Mr.Fox" topped them all, and "Coraline" even passed "Up" on this list. I'm also surprised "Taken" made it in my top 25, but I did thought highly of that action flick. I'm also a bit proud that "Drag Me To Hell" made my top ten, because that is such a fun movie.
It has to be mentioned that there are still movies released in 2009 that I still plan to watch; hopefully by the time the Oscars is aired. If any of those films deserve to be on this list, I will put them here with an "*" next to it indicating it's addition.
...and for fun, the 5 movies that came out in 2009 that got the lowest grades from me (1 being the worst)...
