• Recently I brought out my Sega Dreamcast out of storage, to "re-add" it to my entertainment center. I've had it since 09/09/1999 and it still works! I remembered how much I loved this console and it will probably be one of my favorites of all time. Several of my favorite games of all time are from the Dreamcast, Chu Chu Rocket, Crazy Taxi, Samba De Amigo, Shenmue, Virtua Tennis, are just some to name a few. I think I even bought the most peripherals to the DC, which includes dance pads, fishing controllers, maracas, and even a keyboard for "the Typing of the Dead." Not only that, but with emulation programs, I'm able to play classic games from the 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System. A few Japanese imports were also note worthy to add to my collection, like Ikaruga or Super Puzzle Fighter IIx. Truly, the Dreamcast was an underrated console, but it's good to know that Sega ended their hardware run with a great bang.

  

  On a side note, I realized that Space Channel 5 is one of the games that was unfortunately lost from me as time went by. I decided that I wanted to re-own it again so I decided to go the ebay route. I haven't used ebay for at least five years now, so I was a little rusty in using it this time around. For whatever was going through my head at the time, I mistakenly bidded for TWO auctions of the game. I think I honestly thought that I would have been outbidded for one of them, or it was going to fall under the "winning bid does not meet seller's preferred sale" or something like that. I was wrong, and I won both auctions for the same exact game! One of them only cost me $0.01 with a markup shipping cost and $2.99 with a decent shipping cost, for a combined total of about $18. Oh well, now I know, and knowing is half the battle.
